Pharmacy Technician – Medicare Stars Program (Remote)

Compensation: $20-22
We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join a Medicare Stars Program in a remote call center environment. In this role, you’ll move beyond traditional retail work and focus on patient outreach and medication adherence, helping Medicare members stay on track with their prescriptions and improve their overall health.
You’ll spend your day making outbound calls to members, pharmacies, and providers—helping identify barriers such as cost, refills, or communication gaps, then working collaboratively with healthcare teams to resolve those issues. This is a high-volume, metrics-driven role where strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills are key.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct outbound calls to members, pharmacies, and providers
- Help members obtain medications and overcome adherence barriers
- Work in a structured call queue with productivity and quality metrics
- Handle inbound inquiries, complaints, and member correspondence
- Research, track, and resolve complex issues
- Document all interactions and maintain accurate records
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient privacy standards

Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician license
- Minimum 1 year of experience in retail pharmacy, PBM, or health plan setting
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask across multiple systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Call center or high-volume phone experience
- 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT – PTCB or NHA)
- Experience with Medicare or medication adherence programs

- Must reside in IL, TX, TN, NM, OK, or MT
