Certified Pharmacy Technician (by PTCB or ExCPhT) and registered with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy

Physical Requirements

This position may include sitting at a computer work station for extended periods of time utilizing repetitive motions, may require standing for extended periods of time, and may require the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Shift

Primarily 8:00 am - 4:30pm; Monday through Friday. Shifts and days of the week may change based on needs of the department.

Job Summary

This position will provide cohesive leadership to the Specialty Pharmacy Supply Chain team to ensure compliance with retail operations, hospital outpatient departments, and contract pharmacies. This position is also responsible for interacting with our contracted 340B split-billing software vendor to placing 340B compliant orders on a routine basis. Will interact with our drug wholesaler, multiple secondary suppliers, and directly with manufacturers to maintain and create new WAC and 340B accounts. In addition, this position will work with internal analysts and contracted external partners to ensure a successful and compliant 340B Program.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage multiple tasks and/or projects while accurately completing routine functions in a fast paced, high intensity, professional work environment; knowledge of 340B, Pyxis, Autosplit, OrderExpress; proficient in Microsoft Office, to include Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; excellent attention to detail; exceptional planning and organizational skill; effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to solve routine problems and manage resources; and demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service, time management, and judgment.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? Yes Preferred Education/Experience

Pharmacy technician and/or Pharmacy buyer experience preferred.
