Oxford Solutions is working with a pharmacy services client in Pittsburgh, PA seeking a Pharmacy Quality Improvement Specialist for a direct hire opportunity. This onsite role focuses on pharmacy quality operations with a strong emphasis on Adverse Drug Event (ADE) reporting, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Salary: 54K
Must be flexible to working a schedule that may alternate every other week between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM with rotating Saturday from 9am-5pm every 5-6 weeks.
Responsibilities
Manage the Adverse Drug Event (ADE) reporting process, ensuring accurate documentation and timely submissions
Review patient and provider communications to identify potential ADEs
Maintain complete internal ADE documentation aligned with client requirements
Prepare and submit ADE reports and required follow-up documentation, including FDA submissions when necessary
Analyze patient surveys and feedback to identify trends and opportunities for operational improvement
Develop and implement action plans to address recurring quality issues
Review daily quality reports to ensure accuracy of patient orders and documentation
Collaborate with pharmacy teams to resolve quality concerns and improve workflows
Monitor quality metrics and ensure adherence to operational standards and service levels
Maintain compliance with corporate policies and state and federal pharmacy regulations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years of pharmacy experience with a focus on quality review or process improvement
Required experience with Adverse Drug Event (ADE) reporting and submissions
Experience completing regulatory reporting, including FDA submissions when required
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively across departments
