The Pharmacy Retail Supervisor will oversee daily operations of the retail pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of pharmacy staff in the retail setting.
Ensure accurate dispensing of medications in compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations.
Manage inventory control, including ordering, stocking, and reducing medication waste.
Provide patient counseling and education regarding medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapies.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to pharmacy operations.
Train, mentor, and evaluate pharmacy staff performance.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Address and resolve patient and staff concerns promptly and professionally.
Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Arizona.
Previous experience in retail pharmacy and supervisory roles preferred.
Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in pharmacy management software and electronic health records (EHR).
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
