Who We AreNMPHC is a federally qualified health center that serves local communities with accessible and affordable health care for all!The PositionAs a Pharmacy Revenue Specialist, you help keep pharmacy billing accurate and timely so patients can access care without avoidable delays. You will support revenue capture by working claims from start to finish and resolving issues quickly.Responsibilities:- Submit and follow up on pharmacy claims; correct rejections and denials- Verify coverage, eligibility, and required documentation- Post payments, reconcile accounts, and track outstanding balances- Coordinate with pharmacy staff, payers, and internal teams to resolve billing questions- Maintain clear notes and meet daily productivity and quality targetsQualifications/skills:- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework a plus)- Basic knowledge of insurance/medical billing or pharmacy claims preferred- Strong attention to detail, organization, and data entry accuracy- Clear communication and customer-service mindsetApply if you want a steady, onsite role with measurable impact.A Typical DayYou start at 8:30am by checking your work queue and prioritizing items that need same-day action. Throughout the day, you move between the billing system, payer portals, and phone/email follow-ups to clear issues and keep accounts current. You document what you did, note next steps, and share concise updates with the team when something needs escalation. Expect focused desk work, steady volume, and clear deadlines.
