Provides distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the Pharmacist prior to receiving certification.
Responsibilities ----------------
• Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems. • Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the Pharmacy department. • Prepares sterile and non-sterile compounds. • Repackages bulk medications. • Receives and stores incoming supplies. • Triage incoming calls and serves as a liaison between pharmacy patient and health professionals by providing information.

• Required Credentials • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Michigan Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education ----------
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR • Associates degree • Technical degree • 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
