Shift: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM CST

Preferred Experience

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
• Prior Authorization experience required

Position Overview

Serves as a key point of contact for the Clinical Hub, working closely with pharmacists, facilities, physicians, and prescription drug plans (PDPs). Responsible for managing prior authorizations, investigating payment denials, obtaining clinical justification, and ensuring accurate documentation. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience working within EMAR systems and healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and track prior authorizations from start to finish
• Investigate and resolve prescription payment denials
• Communicate with facilities, physicians, pharmacists, and insurance plans
• Document clinical justifications and authorization status accurately
• Serve as the primary contact for prior authorization completion and follow-up
• Maintain accuracy while managing multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
