Pharmacy Technician I – Ambulatory Retail (Radnor Pharmacy)
Location: Radnor, PA
Schedule: Full‑time | Day Shift with Saturday rotations | Closed Sundays
Work Environment: Onsite with free parking

Located at 145 King of Prussia Road, the pharmacy provides convenient access, extended weekday hours, and supportive services within a collaborative clinical environment.

Role Summary
- As a Pharmacy Technician I, you will support prescription processing, patient assistance, and coordination with pharmacists and clinic teams to ensure safe, efficient medication access. You will play a vital role in helping patients and Penn Medicine employees receive accurate, timely prescriptions while contributing to a high‑quality care experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and fill prescriptions under pharmacist direction, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Collect medication histories and assist in coordinating insurance requirements, patient payments, and benefit investigations.
- Communicate proactively with clinical teams to resolve coverage issues and support seamless medication access.
- Collaborate with pharmacists, social workers, and specialty pharmacy staff to ensure complete and accurate documentation for reimbursement.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, clinic partners, and Penn Medicine employees.
- Support all myPennPharmacy services as needed.
- Uphold Penn Medicine values, policies, and quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED (Required)
- Pharmacy Technician Certification - CPhT (Required)

Preferred Experience
- Experience working in a fast‑paced pharmacy environment (strongly preferred).
- Prior ambulatory retail or mail‑order pharmacy experience a plus.
