Schedule: Monday - Thursday 12:00 PM-9:00 PM, Friday 10:30 AM-7:30PM Position Summary: Pharmacy Tech Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, selects, picks and packages medications and supplies in preparation for shipment to patients. Performs record keeping functions. Assists in various inventory control processes as needed. Worker will be cross trained on Operations Assistant/Materials Coordinator job while on assignment and will assist as needed Experience: Minimum (2) years’ experience required in Fulfillment environment Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for duration of shift (8-10 hours). Must be able to repeatedly lift 5-10 lbs. for duration of shift. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 30-50 lbs unassisted (REQUIRED). during a shift. Reaching and grasping objects at various levels is required. While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is required to utilize a keyboard and operate departmental machinery. Work Environment: Employee regularly works near and around moving machinery (conveyor belts). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee may be required to wear protective clothing or equipment. Reasonable accommodation may be available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Education: Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
