The positions will be 100% Prescription Entry (data entry) roles.
Candidates must:
Be registered Pharmacy Technicians in Texas.
Have approximately 36 months of pharmacy technician experience.
These are intended to be temporary assignments only and are not currently being positioned as a pathway to permanent employment.
New contingent workers would remain onsite for approximately 46 weeks before transitioning to remote work, contingent upon demonstrated performance and acclimation to the role.
Onsite interviews required.
Training: Mon - Fri 8a- 4:30pm
Perm: Mon - Thur: 9a - 530p & Fri 8a - 430pm
Addresses questions about over-the-counter medications, assists with product selection, and provides guidance on non-prescription healthcare products.
Collects and inputs prescription information, ensuring adherence to pharmacy protocols and legal requirements.
Assists in insurance verification activities by contacting insurance companies to obtain necessary authorizations and resolving insurance-related issues or questions.
Handles cash register operations, processes payments, and accurately manages financial transactions, including insurance claims and copayments.
Manages inventory on the pharmacy front end, including over-the-counter medications, health products, and related items.
Provides patient education and counseling on over-the-counter medications, including dosage instructions, potential side effects, and proper usage.
Ensures compliance with pharmacy regulations, laws, and guidelines, including patient confidentiality, controlled substance regulations, and prescription labeling requirements.
Prioritizes tasks, manages customer queues, and communicates effectively with other pharmacy personnel to ensure efficient and timely service.
Provides training and mentoring to less experienced pharmacy technicians or support staff by sharing their knowledge and expertise, assisting in onboarding new employees, and contributing to maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience
Minimum of 3-6 months related pharmacy technician experience.
Position Summary
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Candidate must reside in the state of Texas.
A secure room free from noise and distractions, with a closing door and ergonomic-friendly work area (i.e., desk, chair).
Must have your own internet provider that can support the virtual working environment.
Data Entry
Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
Strong attention to detail while multitasking through various programs.
Adept at reading and interpreting prescription terminology and medications.
Direct/hardwired internet connection to a modem/router within 10 feet of your computer and a minimum speed of 25 mbs download and 3 mbs upload. Wi-Fi and satellite are not permitted.
Secure and private home workspace free from distractions
