Assists Pharmacist in filling compounding and dispensing physician orders. Performs various technical duties involved with the handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals. Provides patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
The Pharmacy Tech will float between NICU & Main Pharmacy. Shifts will vary between 8-12 hour shifts.
Requirements:
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia. • One year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certified Pharmacy Technician through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
