Job Role-
Licensure Requirement: Active California State Pharmacy Technician License is required. National certification (PTCB) is preferred but not mandatory.
Core Responsibilities: Assist with prescription fulfillment, order entry, refills, copay processing, and medication packaging under pharmacist supervision. Ensure accurate documentation including labels, log sheets, and reports.
Communication & Coordination: Regular interaction via phone, email, and fax with patients, prescribers, and internal teams. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Customer Service Focus: Deliver excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries and supporting prescriber requests with professionalism and empathy.
Operational Support: Manage inventory and medication storage. Participate in the on-call rotation as needed based on business demands.
Qualifications:
Required: 1+ year of pharmacy technician experience, CA licensure, basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel).
Preferred: Specialty pharmacy experience and PTCB certification.
