Pharmacy Technician Highlights
Pay: $17.50/hr (licensed) | $16.50/hr (trainee)
Schedule (40 hours/week):Shift Option 1 (1 opening): Sun, Wed, Thurs, Fri 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM
Shift Option 2 (2 openings): Sun, Mon, Tues, Thurs 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Onsite position (Mechanicsville, VA 23116)
This position is a Temporary (13-week) contract
 
Responsibilities
Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejects and completing member/physician outreach
Enter member demographics and prescription information into the system
Research and resolve rejected insurance billing and escalated member issues
Escalate prescription questions to a Pharmacist for interpretation and guidance
Assist with inbound/outbound patient or physician calls
Other duties as assigned
 
Requirements
High School diploma (or equivalent)
2–4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification as required by the state of operation
Basic computer skills
Safety-sensitive role; will have access to PHI and will support pharmacy/healthcare
