Position Overview

The PCAM Pharmacy team supports the Perlman Center for Advanced Medication, an infusion center that prepares and provides IV admixtures for patients receiving cancer treatments. The center also supports patients receiving infusions for a variety of other disease states, including multiple sclerosis, dermatology, infectious diseases, and other complex conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and pharmacy operations.
  • Support the preparation and dispensing of medications according to established procedures.
  • Assist with IV admixture and infusion-related pharmacy services as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate medication and patient records.
  • Follow all pharmacy policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Ensure medications are handled, stored, and prepared appropriately.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to support safe and efficient patient care.

Required Qualifications

  • Current CPhT certification is required.
  • Previous retail pharmacy experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices, medication handling, and safety procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in an infusion center, hospital, oncology, or specialty pharmacy setting is preferred.
  • Experience with IV medication preparation or admixture services is a plus.
