As a
Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting medication fulfillment for patients in long-term care settings. What You'll Do
As a
Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Accurately filling medication orders by verifying medication type, dosage, and quantity to ensure correctness.
- Labeling and packaging medications properly, adhering to safety and pharmacy guidelines to prevent errors.
- Tracking medication inventory and restocking supplies as needed to support smooth pharmacy operations.
- Reviewing and verifying medication orders for accuracy, compliance, and patient safety.
- Maintaining detailed and organized records of medications dispensed and inventory management activities.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Current certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or registration with the Arizona Board of Pharmacy.
- Previous experience in pharmacy operations, especially in long-term care or medication fulfillment, is preferred but not required.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to follow precise instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
