As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll be a vital contributor to our closed-door pharmacy serving long-term care facilities. You'll assist pharmacists in ensuring patients receive accurate medications efficiently and safely. Your role supports daily pharmacy operations while fostering a focus on quality and safety.
What You'll Do:
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Stocking, labeling, assembling, and accurately filling medication orders.
- Supporting pharmacy and pharmacist services as permitted by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy.
- Entering new prescriptions and refilling existing orders promptly to ensure seamless service.
- Communicating with healthcare facilities regarding medication clarifications and logistical details.
- Consulting with pharmacists concerning medication orders to maintain the highest standards of safety and efficacy.
What You'll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Education: A high school diploma or GED preferred.
- Licensure: Ohio Pharmacy Technician License (Registered or Certified) is required.
- Personal Characteristics: Motivated, focused, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Certifications: National certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience: LTC experience is preferred but entry-level candidates with a strong desire to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Physical Abilities: Capable of performing lifting and moving tasks related to pharmacy duties. Willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen and background check.

Location & Schedule:
This is an on-site position in Eastlake, OH. Shifts run between 8 AM and 8 PM, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays from 8 AM to 4 PM. The role provides consistent hours and a friendly working environment.
