As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring accurate prescription processing and seamless communication with pharmacists. You'll work closely with our pharmacy team to deliver precise medication information, helping to support timely and safe patient medication fulfillment.
What You'll Do
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Data entry and problem-solving with pharmacists to ensure accurate prescription information.
- Collecting and entering required information for timely and accurate processing of prescriptions.
- Reviewing medication orders and prescriptions to verify correctness.
- Filling prescriptions accurately in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintaining organized and detailed records for each prescription.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- 1 to 3 years of pharmacy technician experience.
- Valid Kentucky Board of Pharmacy technician license.
- PTCB or NHA certification preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to follow protocol meticulously and work efficiently under deadlines.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
