Job Title: Compounding Pharmacy Technician
Pay: $23.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, 40 hours a week

As a Compounding Pharmacy Technician, you will be at the heart of the operation — mixing, preparing, and verifying non-sterile compounded medications in a modern, well-equipped facility.

What You’ll Do
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for

  • Mixing and preparing non-sterile compounded medications including creams, ointments, capsules, and suspensions in accordance with USP <795> standards
  • Accurately measuring, weighing, and combining ingredients per prescription requirements
  • Assisting pharmacists with prescription verification and the safe, timely dispensing of compounded medications
  • Properly labeling, packaging, and documenting compounded preparations for quality control and beyond-use dating
  • Maintaining a clean and compliant compounding work environment
  • Receiving and managing medication and supply deliveries, with the ability to lift up to 55 lbs
  • Possibility of working with hazardous drugs in the future, with full training and safety protocols provided
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with the State of Florida
  • National certification (CPhT) preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience — compounding experience is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with USP <795> non-sterile compounding standards preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow precise instructions
  • Knowledge of pharmacology and drug interactions
