    Schedule Options

    Candidates may be considered for any one of these schedules based on their availability. Availability for every schedule option is not required.

    • Full-Time Evening: Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM
    • Weekend Part-Time: Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
    • Combined Full-Time: Monday through Wednesday, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM, plus Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

    Position Summary

    We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy operations team in Bellmore / Farmingdale, New York. This is a filling-focused role responsible for preparing, filling, labeling, and packaging medications accurately and efficiently. This position plays a critical role in ensuring patients receive high-quality medications in a timely and compliant manner.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Fill and dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
    • Accurately label, package, and prepare medications for shipment or patient pickup.
    • Maintain organization and cleanliness of pharmacy workstations and filling areas.
    • Assist with inventory management, including restocking and tracking medication supplies.
    • Verify prescription information and ensure accuracy before final pharmacist review.
    • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with applicable pharmacy requirements and procedures.
    • Collaborate with pharmacists and the operations team to support efficient workflow and turnaround times.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum one year of experience as a pharmacy technician or in a pharmacy filling role.
    • Any New York pharmacy technician registration or credential required for the assigned duties must be active and in good standing.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation.
    • Familiarity with pharmacy workflows, labeling, and dispensing processes.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in a high-volume pharmacy or fulfillment environment.
    • Experience processing patient-specific prescriptions in a filling or dispensing workflow.
    • Understanding of different medication forms and administration routes.
    • Experience using pharmacy systems for prescription processing, labeling, and order tracking.
