Pharmacy Technician
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Location: Canton, MI
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician 2 to assist in the preparation and distribution of prescription medications in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. This role supports the fulfillment process by preparing prescriptions, resolving claim issues, entering prescription information, and providing excellent service to members and healthcare providers.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of prescription medications.
- Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejects and conducting member and physician outreach.
- Enter member demographics and prescription information into the pharmacy processing system.
- Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and escalated member concerns.
- Escalate prescription-related questions to the Pharmacist for interpretation or guidance.
- Assist with inbound and outbound patient and physician calls.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all pharmacy policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2–4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
- Current Michigan Pharmacy Technician Registration/License (required).
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
