PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• $22.50/hour contractor pay

• 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

• Contract position

ROLE IMPACT

Support accurate prescription dispensing and inventory operations to help ensure patients receive the correct therapy regimen. This role maintains medication accuracy, storage standards, inventory records, and required documentation while supporting timely patient shipments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately count and label prescriptions and assist with documentation required for proper patient shipments.

• Receive drug orders per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), record drug storage conditions and excursions, and perform quarterly expiration-date checks.

• Maintain accurate daily perpetual inventory records and perform monthly drug inventory.

• Properly handle biohazard materials per OSHA guidelines.

• Collaborate with pharmacy and distribution team members and perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Registered Pharmacy Technician through the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy or ability to achieve registration within 1 month of employment.

• Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, communication, basic computer skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Pharmacy distribution and shipment documentation

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification preferred.

• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively with others.

• Conscientious and detail-oriented approach to pharmacy operations.
