Position Summary:The Certified Pharmacy Technician prepares medication needed for any patient type under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Assists the pharmacist with all aspects of the pharmacy duties. Is responsible for inpatient and outpatient computer charge entries. Maintains appropriate inventory levels and medications needed in automated dispensing units. Assists the pharmacy buyer in inventory control and is able to order through wholesaler in his/her absence.
