Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to efficiently fill prescriptions and support pharmacists in ensuring accuracy and timely shipping of medication orders. This role requires a focus on precision and the ability to handle a high volume of orders, ranging from 18 to 22 prescriptions per hour.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a pace of 18-22 orders per hour.
• Assist pharmacists by preparing prescriptions for final checks and shipping.
• Participate in the shipping process as needed, ensuring timely delivery of medications.
• Engage in tasks requiring extensive walking and standing for up to 8 hours daily, demonstrating physical endurance.

Essential Skills

• Pharmacy technician license
• Experience in filling prescriptions
• Pharmacy technician certification
• Knowledge of retail pharmacy operations

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in MO
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Punctual and reliable work ethic

Work Environment

The role involves extensive walking and standing, requiring comfort with being on your feet for long periods. The work environment is fast-paced, focusing on accuracy and efficiency in pharmacy operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Chesterfield, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
