Pharmacy Technician I under the immediate oversight of the Pharmacist responsibilities include:
• Support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department • Efficient, accurate, and timely preparation, compounding, labeling, and delivering of pharmaceuticals to assure customer satisfaction
Required Registration: Florida Department of Health Pharmacy Technician Registry or enrolled into a BayCare hospital with a Florida Board of Pharmacy Licensed Training Program for the Employer-Based Registered Pharmacy Technician Training Program
Preferred experience is 1-year institutional practice or equivalent as determined by the hiring manager. Required specific skills may also include successfully passing the Pharmaceutical Calculations exam.
Required Qualifications: High School Graduate or Equivalent (GED)
Required FL Registered Pharmacy Technician License
Preferred Qualifications: 1 year Pharmacy Technician experience Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
