Pharmacy Technician

Job description:

Advanced Pharmaceutical Consultants, Inc is a pharmacy management company that specializes in behavioral health by providing pharmacists, technicians, automation as well as expertise. We are currently seeking a licensed, experienced, hospital trained Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a behavioral health facility in Columbia, MO.

The position is for 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday, 7:30am-4pm

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Automated Dispensing Machines Preferred
• Hospital Experience preferred.
• Active registration with Missouri Board of Pharmacy REQUIRED-Please include registration number on Resume

SKILLS

• Unit dosing of oral medications
• Placing orders with vendors, verifying receipt
• Removing outdated drugs
• Proven experience as pharmacy technician
• Proven experience with Automated Dispensing Machines, Omnicell a plus
• Excellent customer service skills
