Job Title: Registered Pharmacy Technician – Customer Service Representative

Are you a Registered Pharmacy Technician looking for a career that combines pharmacy operations, customer service, and relationship management? Join a growing long-term care pharmacy team where you’ll serve as a key connection between the pharmacy hub and healthcare facilities.

This role is ideal for a pharmacy professional who enjoys building relationships, supporting nursing teams, and providing hands-on pharmacy support in long-term care settings. You will travel to assigned facilities to perform medication audits, maintain emergency kits, support inventory management, train facility staff, and ensure exceptional pharmacy service.
What You'll Do:
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the pharmacy hub and assigned long-term care facilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support while resolving facility concerns
  • Support pharmacy implementation and pre-implementation activities
  • Perform monthly medication cycle fills and medication exchanges at assigned facilities
  • Remove unwanted medications and coordinate returns for credit or destruction
  • Conduct medication room, emergency kit, IV cart, and medical cart audits
  • Remove expired medications and monitor reorder needs
  • Maintain emergency kits and IV kits according to pharmacy standards
  • Place contingency stock into emergency kits and IV kits and monitor inventory levels
  • Document all service visits, activities, and staff training through the company tracking system
  • Train and retrain nursing staff on pharmacy procedures, kit usage, and pharmacy SOPs
  • Communicate regularly with nursing staff regarding pharmacy services and support needs
  • Assist with pharmacy hub operations when needed
What You'll Bring:
  • Active pharmacy technician license/registration with the State Board of Pharmacy in good standing
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in pharmacy or healthcare-related field
  • Pharmacy technician experience preferred
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple facility locations
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Reliable transportation and personal auto insurance that covers business use
  • Ability to travel extensively between customer locations with occasional overnight stays
  • Ability to work irregular hours as needed for on-call duties
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs, with frequent lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and perform fine hand coordination tasks
  • Ability to read, write, and follow detailed written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle for extended periods
