Position: Temporary Lead Technician
Skills preferred: Inpatient or retail technician experience, Nationally certified
Current Arkansas technician license
Dates of Coverage needed: start July 27th and cover 40 hours/week until perm position is filled
Coverage Hours needed: Monday Friday 0800-1600
No weekend coverage needed
Order Entry System: HCS; can train
Site Automation: Omnicell installation begins 07/20/2026; experience great but can train
Site Specialty Areas: adolescent and adult behavioral health
Staff Size: 1.2 Pharmacist FTE
Job responsibilities: fill medication orders, deliver medications to med rooms, manage and stock inventory, receive daily warehouse orders and reconcile invoices, review/ process recalls, assist in med room audits, and other supportive tasks to the pharmacist.
2 days of hospital orientation are required; then DOP/pharmacist will train in pharmacy
If a local candidate is not available, mileage and hotel will need to be reviewed by CFO
Dress Code: business casual or any color scrubs besides blue (patients wear blue when they don t have appropriate clothes)
