    RICAR Business Consulting LLC (RBC) is a management consulting and professional services firm providing workforce solutions, operational support, program management, and staffing services to government and commercial clients. RBC is seeking qualified candidates for a potential federal contract supporting the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

    Important Notice: This position is contingent upon contract award and government approval. Applicants may be interviewed and evaluated prior to award; however, no employment offer or guarantee of employment is made until contract award and all required pre-employment requirements have been successfully completed.

    Location: Glenville, West Virginia (On-Site)

    Job Type: Full-Time, Contingent Upon Federal Contract Award

    Schedule: Monday-Friday, Approximately 35 Hours per Week

    Position Overview

    RBC is seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician to provide professional pharmacy support services within a federal correctional healthcare environment. The successful candidate will assist pharmacy personnel with medication management, inventory control, pharmacy operations, patient support activities, and administrative pharmacy functions.

    This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a structured and secure healthcare setting.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in ordering, stocking, storing, and dispensing prescription and non-prescription medications.
    • Maintain pharmacy inventory and monitor medication expiration dates.
    • Assist in maintaining medication carts, emergency medications, and automated dispensing systems.
    • Prepare medication cards, unit-dose medications, and pharmacy documentation.
    • Maintain pharmacy records and documentation in accordance with established procedures.
    • Support quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
    • Conduct inventory counts and maintain controlled substance accountability records.
    • Perform clerical and administrative duties, including filing, scanning, scheduling, and data entry.
    • Utilize electronic medical record systems and pharmacy software applications.
    • Maintain compliance with federal regulations, institutional policies, and healthcare standards.
    • Interact professionally with healthcare staff and patients within a correctional environment.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Completion of a recognized Pharmacy Technician training program.
    • Minimum of one (1) year of Pharmacy Technician experience.
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification.
    • Strong computer and documentation skills.
    • Ability to successfully pass all required background investigations and federal security requirements.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain facility access credentials.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Pharmacy experience in a hospital, correctional, military, government, or institutional healthcare environment.
    • Familiarity with automated dispensing systems.
    • Experience supporting inventory management and medication distribution operations.
    • Experience working within a highly regulated healthcare setting.

    Security & Background Requirements

    Selected candidates will be required to successfully complete all applicable federal background screening, credentialing, and facility access requirements prior to beginning work. Employment is contingent upon government approval and successful completion of all security requirements.
