Duties Responsibilities Pharmacy Technician I: Pharmacy staff member for accurate and timely medication distribution by preparing, distributing, and packaging pharmaceutical products to ensure the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to patients of all ages at AnMed. Receive phone calls and inquiries from healthcare providers and respond to meet their needs as appropriate. Perform all duties under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist Qualifications: HSD or GED required. SC Board of Pharmacy Registration required. One year of pharmacy experience preferred. Pharmacy Technician II: Higher level of Pharmacy Technician job performancecompleting all duties of Pharmacy Technician I withadditional demonstrated ability, efficiency and competency in multiple Pharmacy Department specialty areas. Provides highlevel of assistance to the pharmacistsby preparing, distributing, and packaging pharmaceutical products to ensure the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to patients of all ages at AnMed. Authorized access to all medication areas within AnMed. Authorized by Boardof Pharmacy to perform additional technician duties as prescribed forCertified Pharmacy Technicians. Trained and effectively staffsin multiple specialty Pharmacywork areas. Qualifications: HSD or GED required. SC Board of Pharmacy Certified Technician required. One year of hospital or retail pharmacy experience required ORpost-secondary education graduate of ASHP accredited Pharmacy Technician Training program required.
