Pharmacy Inpatient

This position is located at 1800 Lombard Street, Philadelphia, PA

The position is a full-time rotating shift position 7am-3:30pm, 9am-5:30pm, 11:30am-8pm and 2:30p-11pm. The position includes 1 weekend every 4th. 1 summer and 1 winter holiday and a rotation through the Martin Luther King, Jr. and Juneteenth holiday. The weekend and holiday hours are 8:30am-5pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately fill and prepare medication orders for distribution to patients and patient care areas.
  • Maintain medication inventory, rotating stock regularly and checking for expired medications.
  • Deliver medications appropriately to designated areas based on medication storage requirements.
  • Maintains competence in all department policies and standards of practice and complies with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations
  • Collaborates with other pharmacy staff members to provide high quality pharmacy services • Manage multiple priorities and adapts to complete all duties of assigned shifts.

Education/Experience:

  • High School/GED (Required)
  • 1+ years Pharmacy experience (Required)

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) (Required)
  • Registered Technician (PA State Board of Pharmacy) (Required)
