Volt is immediately hiring for Pharmacy Technician II in Torrance CA As a Pharmacy Technician II you will This position requires a California-licensed Pharmacy Technician working under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. The technician will be responsible for the packaging preparation and sterile compounding of intravenous medications as well as injectable medications including chemotherapy and other biohazardous drugs. All duties must be performed in accordance with USP <797> and <800> standards institutional protocols and safety guidelines.This is a full-time contract opportunity. 5days a week. 8 hours per day.Minimum Qualifications & Experience At least 6 months of performing related duties as a pharmacy technician Licensed pharmacy technician license in good standing with California Board of Pharmacy High School or equivalent or Post High School vocationalspecialized training or Graduation from a foreign school of PharmacyRequired Skills & Qualifications We are looking for a candidate with at least 2 years of solid experience with sterile compounding 797 and hazardous compounding 800 experience.
