Description

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician II for an initial 6-month contract. This position comes with the likeliness of an extension or a direct offer.
pay rate: $27.13/hourshift details: Weekdays, 8:00am-4:30pm PST
Position Details:Responsible for the packaging, preparation, and sterile compounding of intravenous medications as well as injectable medications, including chemotherapy and other biohazardous drugs. All duties must be performed in accordance with USP <797> and <800> standards, institutional protocols, and safety guidelines. Fills prescriptions under the supervision of Pharmacist in hospital pharmacy or retail establishment, and performs a variety of other duties. Mixes pharmaceutical preparations, fills bottles with prescribed tablets and capsules, and types labels for bottles. Receives and stores incoming supplies.
Requirements:- 3-5 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician- Compounding experience is a MUST! - Experience in a hospital setting is a MUST!
