Pharmacy Technician

ROLE IMPACT
Join a fast-paced pharmacy operations team where accuracy, quality, and accountability are essential. In this role, you will support the safe and efficient preparation, handling, and dispensing of prescription medications while working alongside licensed pharmacy professionals. Success is measured by attention to detail, productivity, and compliance with pharmacy regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare, label, count, package, and replenish prescription medications according to established procedures.
• Pick products accurately while maintaining high quality standards and ensuring proper medication labeling.
• Maintain organized inventory, rotate stock, and keep dispensing areas clean and orderly.
• Follow all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations, including HIPAA requirements and documentation standards.
• Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to support efficient order fulfillment and patient safety.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or equivalent with previous picking, warehouse fulfillment, quality, or pharmacy experience.
• Must be eligible for and willing to obtain an Indiana Pharmacy Technician in Training License within two weeks of the start date and obtain National Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification as required.
• Ability to lift 20–30 lbs. regularly, carry up to 15 lbs. for extended distances, stand and walk throughout the shift, and perform basic math, reading, and writing tasks.
EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Onsite pharmacy distribution environment.
• Frequent picking, stocking, lifting, and replenishing of medication inventory.
• Regular use of automated dispensing and inventory systems.
• Standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive movement throughout the shift.
• Quality-focused environment requiring accuracy and attention to detail.
