Required Education:Verifiable High School Diploma or EquivalentRequired License/Certification:Active California Pharmacy Technician License Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experienceMinimum 1 year of customer service or high-volume call center experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced computer skills including word processing and spreadsheetsAbility to stand for extended periods during shiftAbility to repeatedly lift 5–10 lbs and occasionally lift 30–50 lbs unassistedAbility to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environmentPreferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:Experience in healthcare, social services, specialty pharmacy, or similar environmentsExperience with inventory control and medication packagingExperience working around conveyor belts or production machineryOperations Assistant or Materials Coordinator experience preferredPharmacy Technician Overview:This onsite Pharmacy Technician position supports pharmacy operations under the direct supervision of a pharmacistThe role is responsible for selecting, picking, packaging, and preparing medications and supplies for shipment to patients while maintaining accurate records and supporting inventory control activitiesThis is a highly physical and safety-sensitive position that requires standing for extended periods, repetitive lifting, and working around moving machinery in a fast-paced operational environmentThe ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a production-focused healthcare settingIn addition to pharmacy support functions, the selected candidate will be cross-trained on Operations Assistant and Materials Coordinator responsibilities and may assist with those duties as neededThis opportunity may extend beyond the initial leave coverage assignment depending on business needs and employee return status.
