Job Title: Data Entry Pharmacy Technician
Pay: $21+ DOE and licensure
Hours: Weekly shift rotation, including 1 Saturday per month

You'll work closely with experienced pharmacy professionals while maintaining high standards of accuracy, productivity, and customer service.

What You'll Do
As a Mail Order Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for
• Accurately entering prescriptions into the pharmacy system
• Interpreting prescription directions (SIG codes)
• Calculating and verifying accurate days' supply and quantity (ex: determining total quantity needed based on dosage and duration)
• Processing and resolving insurance and third-party claim issues
• Researching and troubleshooting prescription processing concerns
• Providing professional phone-based support to members, providers, and insurance companies
• Maintaining productivity and accuracy standards in a high-volume environment
• Working independently while collaborating with pharmacists and fellow technicians

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have
• Active California Pharmacy Technician license
• Previous Pharmacy Technician experience
• Strong data entry experience in a pharmacy setting
• Solid understanding of prescription math, including days' supply calculations
• Experience handling insurance claims and payments
• High attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Location & Schedule
