Located in: Mansfield, MA
Pay Rate: $18.50/hour
Schedule Options:

• 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM (Off Saturday & Tuesday)
• 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM (Off Saturday & Wednesday)

Position Overview

We are seeking Licensed Pharmacy Technicians in Mansfield, MA to join a fast-paced fulfillment team in a contract-to-hire opportunity. In this role, you will assist in the preparation, processing, and distribution of prescription medications while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service to patients and providers.

Key Responsibilities

Prescription Processing & Data Entry

• Enter member demographics and prescription information into the pharmacy system.
• Process new patient registrations and refill orders in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes) and ensure accurate prescription entry.
• Troubleshoot and obtain missing prescription information.

Insurance & Billing Support

• Resolve third-party claim rejects by reviewing, correcting, and resubmitting claims per plan requirements.
• Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and escalated member concerns.
• Process prescription exceptions, including claim rejects and physician outreach.

Fulfillment & Production

• Operate automated machinery and transition inventory through workflow stages with a strong focus on quality control.
• Count, fill, label, package, and ship prescription medications.
• Sort medications and maintain accurate inventory movement.
• Clean and maintain equipment and ensure an orderly workspace.

Customer & Team Support

• Assist with inbound and outbound patient and physician calls.
• Escalate prescription-related questions to the Pharmacist for interpretation.
• Provide support to onsite and remote Pharmacists.
• Identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate.

Required Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician License (must not expire before end of assignment).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 0–2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (opening/closing programs, printing, saving files, navigating systems).
• Basic internet and search engine proficiency.
• Intermediate keyboarding skills (minimum 25 WPM).
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, grasp, and lift with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Comfortable working on your feet and in a production-focused environment.
• Willingness to work a flexible evening shift.
