    SUMMARY OF POSITION Provides assistance with the order entry preparation and distribution of drug products under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist. Maintains appropriate inventory of drug supplies and a system of control to ensure the integrity of the purchases control of supplies and proper accounting for their distribution.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or equivalent required.

    Six 6 months of experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy with an educational background in medical terminology and computer use required OR graduate of a formalized Pharmacy Technician Training Program with a minimum of 120 hours in an externship program required.

    Ability to get certified from PTCB Pharmacy Technician Certified Boards required within six 6 months.
