Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacy Technician role based in Owensboro, KY. The Pharmacy Technician assists pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions, including entering prescription information, labeling medications, and ensuring accuracy in dosage and directions. Daily responsibilities include managing inventory, restocking shelves, checking expiration dates, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The role involves greeting patients, answering questions within scope, handling phone inquiries, processing insurance claims, and facilitating efficient checkout. The Pharmacy Technician supports compliance with pharmacy regulations, follows established procedures and safety protocols, and collaborates with the pharmacy team to deliver timely, high-quality service.
