Overview

Our client is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations within a healthcare facility in Pittsburgh, KS. You will work closely with one pharmacist and a small team to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment, maintain compliance, and deliver exceptional service to patients and providers. Key Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist with preparing, packaging, and dispensing medications
• Maintain accurate prescription records, patient information, and inventory documentation
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, facility standards, and pharmacy protocols
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers
• Support daily pharmacy operations and contribute to a safe, organized work environment

Required Skills & Experience

• Active Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Kansas
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical practices, terminology, and regulatory requirements
• Experience working in a healthcare or pharmacy setting
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• PharmD degree or equivalent experience is advantageous
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer‑service skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a small, supportive team environment

Work Environment

You will work alongside one pharmacist and one to two additional pharmacy technicians in a collaborative, patient‑focused setting. The team emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and compassionate care while maintaining a supportive and professional work atmosphere.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburg, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
