    Job Summary

    The Pharmacy Technician in supporting the preparation, coordination, and fulfillment of infusion medications and supplies for patients receiving care in both Ambulatory Infusion Centers (AICs) and Home Infusion settings. Working under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, the PV2 ensures medications, supplies, and delivery documentation are prepared accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with state, federal, USP, and company standards.

    This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining the highest level of patient safety.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assemble infusion kits and ancillary supplies according to pharmacist-approved orders.
    • Verify medication labels, lot numbers, expiration dates, and quantities prior to pharmacist verification.
    • Package medications and supplies for delivery to Ambulatory Infusion Centers and Home Infusion patients.
    • Assist in coordinating same-day, next-day, and scheduled deliveries.
    • Ensure all shipments meet temperature control and packaging requirements.
    • Maintain accurate inventory of medications, supplies, and consumable items.
    • Rotate stock using first-expiring, first-out (FEFO) practices.
    • Receive, inspect, and stock incoming pharmaceutical shipments.
    • Prepare medication labels and fulfillment documentation.
    • Maintain clean, organized, and compliant work areas.
    • Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, delivery personnel, and operations teams to ensure timely patient care.
    • Other job-related duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities within a changing environment, emphasizing paperless workflow.
    • Organizational skills are sufficient to maintain consistently accurate records.
    • Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Excel & Word.
    • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (required) and/or hold an active Pharmacy Technician license.
    • Current knowledge of all applicable state and federal pharmacy laws, rules, and regulations
