MTM Pharmacy located in Santa Ana, CA is hiring a part-time bilingual Spanish/English pharmacy clerk or technician who can multitask and possess great customer service skills. 

We like excellent customer service/sales, proficiency in multitasking, working well in fast faced environment, dedication, and kind to patients,strong communication skills, honesty, hardworking, & genuine.

Optional: Active Pharmacy Tech License (If you already passed the test and are waiting to receive a license, we will consider your application).

Hours: Monday-Friday: 9:30AM to 6PM

Below are job descriptions for our pharmacy technicians:

Job Duties:
  • Be able to speak both Spanish and English fluently.
  • Greet and communicate with patients and healthcare providers in person and by phone promptly.
  • Maintained pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipated needed medications and supplies; placed and expedited orders; verified receipts; removed outdated drugs.
  • Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and procedures.
  • Read the medication orders and prescriptions; prepare labels; calculate quantities and days supply; fill medications, assemble intravenous solutions and other pharmaceutical therapies.
  • Maintain records by recording and filing physicians’ orders and prescriptions.
  • Generate revenues by calculating, recording, and issuing charges.
  • Ensures medication availability by delivering medications to patients and departments.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
