Pharmacy Technician

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician (Part-Time, Afternoons/Evenings)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing excellent support to pharmacists and outstanding service to patients.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday

• 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications

• Accurately enter prescription information into the pharmacy system

• Process insurance claims and resolve billing issues

• Manage inventory, restock medications, and monitor expiration dates

• Provide courteous and professional customer service

• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacy Technician license/registration (as required by state)

• Previous pharmacy experience preferred (retail or long-term care)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with pharmacy management software

• Knowledge of insurance adjudication and prior authorizations
