Overview

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations within a clinic setting. This is a patient-facing role responsible for assisting pharmacists with prescription processing, inventory management, customer service, and administrative duties. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional service in a healthcare environment.
This is a part-time opportunity with the potential for additional hours as business needs grow and to provide coverage for team members as needed.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve, count, measure, and prepare medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Assist pharmacists with prescription processing and refill requests
• Input, update, and retrieve prescription information using pharmacy systems
• Support inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and restocking medications and supplies
• Provide customer service and assist patients with pharmacy-related inquiries
• Refer physician calls, clinical questions, and medication-related concerns to the pharmacist
• Process transactions and operate a cash register when needed
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation
• Collaborate with clinic staff and healthcare providers to support patient care
• Follow established pharmacy procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician license/certification in the applicable state
• 2-3 years of pharmacy technician or related healthcare experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency and experience working with pharmacy or healthcare systems
• Ability to work independently within established guidelines
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to complete required Tuberculosis (TB) screening for patient-facing healthcare roles
• Passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a retail, clinic, or outpatient pharmacy setting
• Experience with inventory management and medication ordering
• Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and prescription processing software
• Experience interacting directly with patients in a healthcare environment
