Immediate need for a talented Pharmacy Tech. This is a 03 month Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Canton, GA(Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested. Job Diva : 26-13915 Pay Range: $31 - $33/hr. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, Sign- on Bonus, Reallocation Bonus and paid sick leave (depending on work location). Key Responsibilities: Shift: Day Shift (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) Schedule: Monday – Friday Assist pharmacists in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders Perform chemotherapy and hazardous drug compounding in compliance with safety protocols Prepare and mix IV medications accurately Handle, package, and deliver pharmaceuticals to appropriate departments Maintain inventory, including controlled substances and oncology medications Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and sterile compounding procedures Support multiple pharmacy operations such as production, distribution, and inventory management Provide patient care support across all age groups (neonate to geriatric) Maintain accurate documentation and medication records Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent pharmacy technician experience Required experience in: Hazardous drug handling Chemotherapy compounding (oncology setting preferred) IV mixing Active Pharmacy Technician registration in the State of Georgia (required) Experience in oncology or infusion center settings Knowledge of sterile compounding and USP guidelines Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment Strong attention to detail and patient safety Our client is a leading Healthcare Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
