PHENND Fellows: Child Wellbeing Coalition Coordinator

The overarching goal of this project is to reduce the impact of poverty on child wellbeing in Delaware County.

The VISTA will do so by strengthening the coalitions research, public education, and community engagement infrastructure. Specifically, the VISTA will:

1. Develop systems and reusable templates that translate complex state and local policy and budget decisions into clear, accessible tools for families and partners.

2. Support and coordinate Action Team Meetings, youth engagement efforts, and strategic outreach to align cross-sector partners around shared priorities.

3. Build long-term sustainability by creating standardized processes, resource libraries, and communication systems that increase organizational efficiency and community participation.

The VISTA will gain experience in systems change strategy, policy analysis, facilitation, coalition building, and capacity development while holding meaningful responsibility for project design, implementation, and evaluation.
