The overarching goal is to grow the capacity of Feast of Justice to address food insecurity in our local community.
Specifically, the VISTA will participate in the following areas, choosing a main focus area that best meets their interest and skills:
- Volunteer Coordination - to assist with coordinating and empowering over 800 volunteers who in total contribute 450 hours weekly to our mission.
- Strategic Initiative Coordination - to assist with researching and implementing business models to develop revenue streams to sustain our programming.
- Marketing Coordination - to help us reach more families through communications that increase public awareness and engagement opportunities.
The VISTA members will work as part of a leadership team to best reach our population and respond to emergent needs, while independently completing goals and objectives specific to their role.
