PHENND Fellows:Health Services Equity Coordinator

The VISTA will help increase access to integrated primary medical behavioral and dental healthcare services at Woods for community members with intellectual disability autism and other disabilities.

You will be 1 conducting outreach and raising awareness of Woods Healthcare services 2 increasing volunteer opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities and 3 raising additional funds through grant writing.

You will be part of a dynamic team to conduct community outreach assist with setting up visits tours presentations and calls write compelling materials for both marketing and grant purposes identify funding prospects assist with grant-writing and build relationships with community partners for referrals and volunteer opportunities.

In this role you will enhance your knowledge of healthcare and special populations as well as build a professional network in the healthcare and nonprofit areas.

Drivers license is required access to a car is preferred.
