A notable restaurant group known for creating upscale neighborhood restaurants seeks a restaurant and events manager for their high volume Philadelphia location. This management role is for an events focused manager who is not only responsible for daily operations (with a focus on being a constant floor presence to support the staff and guests' needs) but is also leading the events programming for the restaurant. The events manager will liaise with clients, create BEOs, as well as organize and help support events.
This is a guest forward role and demands a professional who believes in floor presence to create genuine hospitality driven experiences.
Requirements:
- Candidates must be hospitality focused managers with at least 1-2 years of floor/operations experience at a manager/supervisory level in full service restaurants (casual, upscale casual or fine dining preferred).
- Must have at least 1 year of event management experience to include booking, organizing, and leading events in restaurants or hotels.
- Successful candidates should be confident in their abilities but have a strong desire to learn and grow.
