JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's Degree In philanthropy, business, communications, nonprofit management, or a related field.
Minimum Experience:
3-5 years Fundraising experience in a nonprofit, healthcare, or educational setting.
Preferred Experience:
Experience working in healthcare or hospital philanthropy.
Experience managing a Grateful Patient Program or similar healthcare philanthropy initiative.
Pay Transparency
The hourly rate range for this position is $99,507- $164,559. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California Arcadia Hospital considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, State, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
The Philanthropy Officer for Leadership Annual Giving is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of individual donors and prospects with the capacity to make philanthropic investments ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 in support of the organization''s mission and strategic priorities. This role focuses on building authentic donor relationships, executing personalized cultivation and stewardship strategies, and securing annual and multi-year commitments through meaningful engagement.
Serving as a frontline fundraiser, the Philanthropy Officer partners closely with clinical leaders, volunteers, and foundation colleagues to connect donors to high-impact giving opportunities that advance patient care, programs, and community health initiatives.
