You'll join a collaborative Development team committed to community-centric fundraising, strong donor relationships, and advancing PPCW's mission throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington.
About the Role
The Philanthropy Officer manages a dynamic portfolio of mid-level and major gift prospects and donors, building relationships that lead to increased philanthropic investment in PPCW's mission.
This is a highly relationship-focused role. You'll identify and qualify prospective donors, cultivate existing relationships, solicit major gifts, and steward supporters over time. You'll also serve as a visible representative of PPCW in the community, developing relationships with donors, volunteers, businesses, community leaders, and partner organizations.
A major focus of this position will be growing philanthropic support throughout the Mid-Willamette Valley, North Willamette Valley, and Washington County, including supporting multi-year and capital fundraising initiatives.
What You'll Do
In this role, you'll:
You'll have significant ownership of relationships in your service area while working closely with a supportive Development team on broader organizational fundraising strategy.
Schedule & Location
This is a full-time position (40 hours/week), Monday-Friday, with flexibility required for occasional evening and weekend donor meetings and events.
This is a hybrid, regionally focused position serving the Mid-Willamette Valley, North Willamette Valley, and Washington County.
Development Team in-person days:
Other workdays may be performed remotely or in the community based on donor meetings, events, and business needs.
Regular travel throughout the assigned service area is an essential part of this position. Reliable transportation is required.
